Relay for Life 2009 - Team Tuyee!

Jimmy and I went down to San Clemente this past weekend to participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in support of Tuyee and the entire relay team. We both believe in the cause and want to contribute wherever we can. Below are some of the pictures from this 24-hour relay where a member from your team must be on the track at all times. Rogue River Adventure!

As promised, here's the video of our hydrojet boat doing a 360° turn on the Rogue River! We had the best seats in the house...front and center! Our pilot (that's what they are called, not captains), Shawn, from Jerry's Rogue Jets (http://www.roguejets.com/) was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and had vision like a hawk. He spotted animals along the way that we never would've seen... like deers & bears & bald eagles!

Southern Oregon Coast

Ok, first post...here goes!

Na and I just came back from a short weekend trip up to the Southern Oregon Coast. It was the first time for the both of us visiting the beautiful state of Oregon. We landed in Medford and made our way out to Bandon (about a 3 hour drive). From there, we headed south towards Port Orford, Gold Beach, Brookings and finally to Crescent City, California. We drove at a nice and leisurely pace and stopped whenever we felt like it...ie. photo ops, restroom breaks or just to check out a view. More pictures to follow and possibly a video of our adventure on the Rogue River on a hydrojet boat doing a 360° turn (if I can figure out how to do that since I'm new to this!). Meanwhile, enjoy the Coquille River Lighthouse and the panoramic view of Bandon Beach! (Click on the image for a larger view.)
