We decided we wanted to do something outdoors last night so we can enjoy the remainder of the warm summer nights. So I went online and (luckily) found a free outdoor concert at the Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena. The group is called ON Ensemble from Mt. Shasta...it's a taiko group w/a hip-hop, rock and electronica influence. Entertaining? Yes. Interesting? Very!
BTW, we started the evening out w/happy hour at.....WHOLE FOODS! Damn, who would've known...

Kai @ 1 Week Old!
We had a chance to visit the little guy at home last week and I took a few quick snaps of him while he was busy doing what newborns do best at 1 week old (at least from my observation)...no, not poop (although a lot of parents would disagree w/me here), but sleep! BTW, you can't see his fingernails, but Na had just given him a manicure prior to the shot! Check out the nicely trimmed toe nails though!
Tricia & Jimmy @ the Venice Canals!
Love this place! There is so much character there...everything from the people's porches, frontdoors, backdoors, backyards, docks...even their garage doors! Na, Kim S. and myself were there w/T&J to shoot some pics for them. T&J are so funny, so relaxed, so laid back...ie. they were down to do anything...even w/Tricia's heels on! Here are a few of my favorites... BTW, not all the pics are mine, a lot of them are Na's (good job, babe!).

Relaxin'...
Happy Birthday!!!
I found out from Kim M. (thanks Kim!) about the Disneyland promotion where you can visit the park on your birthday for free so I decided to take advantage of it. We got there a little late but that's okay. We still got a full day in at the park!
So they give you these buttons that say "Happy Birthday" and your name written below to wear around. And throughout the day, the Disney employees (or even random peeps) will just yell out "Happy Birthday!" to you. It's a really cool feeling, I'm sure. Na seemed to enjoy it and I got a good crack out of it.

Na's Birthday Weekend!
Wow! What a kicka$$ weekend! Since Na's bday was during the week, we decided to celebrate the weekend before. On Saturday morning, we went bikeriding down in Hermosa and the weather couldn't be more perfect! We rode to the Redondo Pier, walked around a bit and had some live fresh uni, ceviche...and beer for lunch. (oishii!) We then headed up to Manhattan Beach and there was an insane amount of people there for the Charlie Saikley 6-Man/6-Woman Volleyball tournament...needless to say...LOTS of interesting characters around! More pictures to follow, but for the meantime, here are some of my favorites...
